Lisa Wallos
Lisa Wallos is an experienced early intervention and behavioral specialist with over 25 years of experience supporting children and families through both private practice and the New York State Early Intervention Program. Her background includes extensive work with children with autism, developmental delays, sensory and behavioral challenges, and social-emotional needs.
Lisa also serves as a vendor specialist with the New York City Department of Education and is known for her compassionate, relationship-based approach to supporting children of all needs.
She holds a degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
Throughout her career, Lisa has worked as a Special Instructor, ABA therapist, Parent Coach and Family Trainer. She has also supported children ages 3–5 through the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE). In addition to her early childhood work, Lisa provides coaching and behavioral support for older children, adolescents, and adults.
Lisa is also experienced in supporting separated and divorced parents who may need guidance, alignment, and practical strategies for parenting children with unique developmental, behavioral, or emotional needs across multiple home environments.
Early Intervention Solutions provides individualized support for children with autism, developmental delays, communication differences, sensory needs, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional difficulties. Programs are thoughtfully designed to strengthen communication, emotional regulation, independence, social development, and daily functioning through a highly personalized and relationship-based approach.
With over 25 years of experience in the New York State Early Intervention Program and private practice, Lisa Wallos works closely with children and families to create meaningful progress that carries over into everyday life at home, school, and within the community. Services are tailored to each child’s unique strengths, personality, learning style, and developmental profile.
